Catalogue entry

A working set of six thrown dinner plates in a mottled iron-over-bone glaze, each slightly different in the way a thrown set always is. Rims are gently uneven; diameters vary by about 3/8 in across the six.

Dishwasher-safe in practice — the vendor has run them for years — though we would hand-wash them and so would you.

  • Deceased estate, Northeast Portland
  • Purchased new from a Eugene craft fair, mid-1990s (per the family)
